FAQ
Are there General MIDI kits, as well as individual banks of drums?
Indeed there are! Literally by popular demand.
I bought Acoustic Kits before you added those snazzy General MIDI kits. Do I have to buy an upgrade? Nope. That's not our style. It's a free update. You should have already gotten an email from us about this, but if not, just drop us an email and we'll hook you up.
My drum sounds cut off when I lift the key on my keyboard. Is there a way to make them ring out?
Sounds like somebody didn't read the pdf instructions! Don't feel bad, I never do either. To make the drums not cutoff, go to the edit page and turn the "Release" all the way up. (On the ADSR envelope.) Turn off the "Settings" button and you won't have to do it again. Or if you load your instruments as "Parts" (also explained in the pdf,) you don't have to mess with any of this at all.
When I click a set, it starts playing all the drums. What do I do to make it stop???
Click it again. just like you would with any loop. You see, the way we tricked Stylus into accepting individual sounds is by making Stylus believe they're loops. To make it so you don't have to click twice, load the banks as Parts (explained in the pdf.)
I didn't download before my 3-day link expired. Am I screwed???
Nope. In fact, that sounds like exactly the sort of thing I do all the time. I pay for something, then wait before actually downloading it because I don't want to slow down the rest of my internet. Just send us an email and we'll hook you up with a shiny new link, no problem.
Why are there two different download links?
There was a version of the Sage Converter that would sometimes snag on the conversion. It was rare, but it happened. So rather than make you look for updates and stuff, I give you the option of downloading the already converted version that you simply drag to your SAGE - User Libraries folder. Be advised, this file is about 50% bigger, though, so the download takes longer.
These sounds are amazing! Are you guys geniuses???
Yes.
